S. Y. 2008-2009, here it comes…

Who among of you is not excited for the first day high?

Few days more to go before classes starts. Almost everybody is prepared and excited to go to school after along summer vacation. Did I say long? Well, maybe for them but not for me because I had no summer break due to my OJT (on-the-job-training).

Anyway, as I’ve said, everybody’s excited, from the freshmen to the seniors. For the freshmen, they are excited to go and see their new campus and instructors, meet new barkadas, or maybe excited because at last, they are free from their strict parents and they can now do what they want. Of course, I know everything all of this things because I was once a freshman. And for the oldies, one thing is for sure why they want to be June always. They’re looking for a new prospect. “Sipat diri, wow gwapa! Lingi dira, wow gwapa na pud! Tan-aw didto, ay… ok ra.”

These are just some of the many reasons why everybody is excited during first week of June. But whatever it is, only one thing is important… focus to your studies. Don’t waste your time and most of all, your money. “Mahal na jamo ang bugas karon bai! Ang gasolina d i pud…” K?

NBA craze...

Playing is a big part of being a student and that’s what I did.

Speaking of play, do you know what my game is? Basketball! And talking of basketball, NBA will always be on my list. Those ankle-breaking cross-over, perfect dishes, stylistic dunks, assists, all-stars… Whoo00a!!! I love that.

To those folks who want to know what’s happening now on NBA, I got here an update. Boston Celtics will meet L.A. Lakers for the season finals. Detroit Pistons missed their chance to go to the finals when they loosed during their game 6 against Boston Celtics, 81-89, last Saturday, May 31, 2008. The Celtics won over Piston by 4-2 standing in a best of seven series. While in the West, the last year’s champion team, San Antonio Spurs got nothing to do against Los Angeles Lakers during their game 5 last May 30, 2008. The league’s MVP, Kobe Bryant, lead the Lakers to be the first team this season to proceed to the finals with 39 points. The final score was 100-92. Lakers won by 4-1 standing in a best of seven games.

The game 1 between L.A. Lakers and Boston Celtics will be played on June 5, 2008. The succeeding games will be on June 8, 10, 12, 15, 17 and 19, 2008. Now, whose K will dominate? Is it the MVP K. Bryant or K. Garnett? Folks, this is gonna be a great game that you shouldn’t miss.

OJT during Summer...

Summer. A time to rest for students from the long year of school. A time also to go to different places in Bohol for the same reason, FIESTA!!!
Well, that's good but not for me because I'm having now my On-the-Job-Training this summer as a part of our curriculum at Auza.net.
As of now, I'm working on a certain website given to me by our project director. This is my first time to work on this kind of stuff so I had to exert more effort to accomplish this thing (hehehe)... I had to study all the things from HTML, PHP, Wordpress, FLASH, etc. Disgusting!? As of now, it is partially done. Of course with the help of my co-OJT's and my Bosses in the office. I'm very thankful that He gave me this opportunity because I learned so much more than what I've expected but we'll end our OJT this June 7, 2008. But this does not mean that we'll end our learnings because this is just the beginning for the brighter future...(drama?...hehehe).
Maybe that's all folks. I got no more English left in my wallet... So, goodbye SUMMER... hello SCHOOL YEAR! no BREAK!!! what???
